We’ve teamed with DataChambers, a leading national data
center, to provide a dependable, secure and high-performance
environment. The network, servers, system and application
are monitored around-the-clock, 365 days a year. This all
enables us to provide guaranteed uptime for iMaint Online.
The iMaint Online application and databases are housed on
multiple servers to increase system availability and reliability.
We backup your data, manage your databases and perform system
maintenance. More detailed technical information on security
and our data center is provided below.
Your Data is Safe and Secure
We employ numerous safeguards and layers of security

User Security
You will appoint one or more administrators for iMaint Online.
An administrator assigns every user, or
group of users, security rights within iMaint Online that
restrict or limit access to:
- Specific iMaint Online features
- Specific data fields
- Data for specific divisions or locations
- Administrative features
- Regular Data Backups
Data Backups
All customer data is backed up regularly, following industry
standard practices. Multiple safeguards protect the servers
that house your data, as well as backups of your data. (See
"The DataChambers Facility" for more information.)
You Own Your Data
The data you enter into iMaint Online is your data. If you
require a copy of your organization’s database, we can
provide it to an authorized member of your staff.

The facility maintains world-class standards for security,
availability and reliability, including:
Multiple High-Bandwidth Data Lines
DataChambers employs redundant and diverse fiber-optic data
transmission lines using industry-standard SONET technology.
The result—fast, reliable, high-bandwidth data transmission.
Stringent Physical Security
To protect your data and our systems, DataChambers makes use
of numerous physical security measures, constant monitoring
of the facility, proximity ID cards with PIN verification,
biometric screening devices, and video surveillance.
Multiple Power Backup Systems
The DataChambers facility is located within an 83-acre complex
with its own on-site power sub-station, which is fed from
two separate power grids. In addition, there are high-capacity
generators and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems
at DataChambers, ensuring that the facility will be operational
at all times.
Multiple Fire Suppression Systems
Three separate systems are employed to guard against damage
from flame, smoke or heat.
- State-of-the-art Fire Master 200 non-corrosive gas fire-suppression
system.
- Pressurized dry-pipe pre-action backup system.
- On-site 300,000 gallon water retention tank fed by two
separate and diverse 12-inch water pipes. (Standing water
is never allowed over electronic equipment.)
- High-Performance Climate Control
- Redundant 55-ton air handling units keep the facility
at a constant, optimal 70 degrees and 50% relative humidity.
